I first met Annette a few years back, when she competed in and later won, the Lonsdale National Model Search run with Auto Salon. She stood out from the other contestants, and went on to be host of the stage shows for Auto Salon, and is now modelling and presenting for a huge number of companies and events.

I grew up in a small town south of Sydney called Shellharbour, the only two things to do for kids there were Lawn Bowls or Surfing. So not wanting to look like an 80 year old, I chose surfing. The magazine which was like the bible for surfers back then was TRACKS. Imagine my surprise when TRACKS calls me to do a shoot for their poster girl, and that girl is Annette Melton. It really is a small world.

We did the shoot on a windy Sunday south of Cronulla, with the lovely Sandra Wograndl assigned with the hair and make up duties.
