Dirty Works

Dirty Work

If there is one bad side to owning a set of deep dish wheels, it’s that they look terrible with lots of brake dust on them. With our weather the way it has been recently, and the amount of travelling I have been doing of late, I haven’t had a chance to clean my wheels for a few weeks. I had a trip to Newcastle in the rain two weeks ago and drove to Oran Park last weekend, which also involved some driving on dirt. With a bit of time up my sleeve and an understanding wife (love ya babe) it was time to make the Equips shine again.

Dishy Goodness

I use Mother’s car wash, a sponge and woollen mitt to clean them, it takes a bit of time and elbow grease, but it’s really the only way. I also gave them a coat of some good wax, so hopefully the next time they are covered in brake dust, it will be an easier process to make the dish bling.
