I’ve had a very busy few weeks, with lots of week long projects taking up most of my time. One of them was a super rushed trip to Turkey and London. I spent more time in the air than on the ground, and felt like a CIA agent. I flew from Sydney to Singapore to Dubai to Istanbul, where we had one nights sleep, then to London the next day, another night and then back to Singapore and onto Melbourne. That went fron Sunday to Friday Australian time, so it was 6 actual nights, but we only managed to have 2 in beds. Anyway. Here are some highlights from Turkey.
I look at this sign and think, Transit Yo!
Huge saw on little bobcat.
The Taxi drivers were fun. People were literally jumping out of the way.
The Grand Bazaar, a 58 street, 1200 store, 550 year old shopping mall.
Tonnes of Gold for sale.
And lots of fakes.
I had to.
Pomegranates were in season so were everywhere. Pomegranate mixed with Orange juice is pretty good.
Hitchcock would have liked it.
Basketball is very popular in Turkey, our hotel had a 24 hour NBA channel that was cool, until we saw the same game 3 times.
A huge amount of shipping goes through Istanbul.
I spotted this cool black on black Camaro inside Galatasaray’s training ground. Hot.
More to come…
